In recent years, the salon has become an integral part of the PHACE series in the Vienna Konzerthaus. In an informal, open discussion, Juri Giannini (Institute of Musicology, MDW Vienna) discusses the works together with the composers, interpreters, conductors and other contributors. Based on this format, we would like to open up access to the public on different levels: insights into the creative process, the rehearsal work, the sound worlds, the musical and extra-musical references or the very personal contexts of the participants.
